About Us

MEET THE TEAM

As your physiotherapists we assess, treat, prevent and rehabilitate any movement disorder of the human body

Anke Groenewald

anke

Anke graduated at the University of Stellenbosch in 2011. In 2012 I spent my community service year in Tzaneen, Limpopo. I started working at Miller & Associates (Melkbosstrand) in April 2013, where a whole new world opened for me. I have worked with all age groups from little children to the older population and have found that everyone has a challenge and I could help them.

The reason why I studied physio is because I love people! It amazes me how unique we are in almost every single way.

In February 2017 I opened my practice in Wellington.

I am also blessed to be a mommy and love spending time with my family.

I am mostly at the practice during the mornings and also enjoy my sideline hobby: leather crafting.

Janka Mathee

Janka

Janka graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2020 at the University of Western Cape (UWC). Thereafter she completed her compulsory community service year in 2021 at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria.

She is interested in all areas of physiotherapy but has a particular interst in Orthopeadics and sport-related injuries.

Janka might be the quiet one at the practice but her gentleness and kindness are striking!

Janka was born profoundly deaf but oh boy this lady doesn’t let anything hold her back! She followed her dreams and studied physiotherapy and currently uses hearing aids.

She also suffered an ACL injury during her school years so she can for sure empathize with patients that had surgery.

When not working at the practice she enjoys participating in a wide array of sport and outdoor activities, such as action netball, hiking, athletics and travelling.

Janka is for sure a great asset to our practice and we are blessed to have her here. She will mainly be available during the afternoons.
